On-site Live Scan San Jose

We come to you — your team stays at work

Sending five, ten, or twenty people offsite to get fingerprinted means lost productivity, scheduling headaches, and people who forget to show up. Mobile fingerprinting San Jose solves that — we bring the Live Scan equipment to your office, classroom, sanctuary, or facility and process your whole team in one visit.

Most providers in the Bay Area require minimums of 20 or more people before they’ll travel. We come for groups as small as 5 — useful for small offices, dental practices, real estate teams, small church volunteer crews, or department-by-department onboarding at larger organizations.

Who we serve

Mobile group fingerprinting for your kind of organization

Same five-person minimum, same flat travel fee. Tell us your group size and location and we’ll come to you.

Churches & faith communities

Mobile fingerprinting for churches serving youth groups, Sunday school, or summer camp. Required by California AB 506 for any congregation working with children under 18.

Schools & school districts

Mobile fingerprinting for schools handles teachers, substitutes, classroom aides, custodial staff, after-school staff, and bus drivers. We come to your campus on a teacher work day.

Nonprofits & volunteer orgs

Mobile fingerprinting for nonprofits — sports leagues, mentoring programs, after-school programs, summer camps, and any nonprofit working with children must comply with AB 506.

Businesses & HR teams

New-hire onboarding, contractor screening, professional licensing renewals. Our corporate Live Scan service processes whole departments in one session at your office.

Healthcare facilities

Nursing license applicants, medical assistants, home-health aides, dental practices — on-site fingerprinting saves clinical hours that would otherwise be spent off-site.

Real estate & brokerages

DRE licensing requires Live Scan for every agent and broker. Get an entire office’s renewals or new-agent onboarding done in a single afternoon, in-house.

California Compliance

AB 506 mobile fingerprinting — we make compliance easy

Since January 1, 2022, California Assembly Bill 506 requires Live Scan background checks for all employees, administrators, and regular volunteers of youth-serving organizations. Name-based checks don’t qualify — only Live Scan does. We come to your church, camp, or nonprofit and handle the whole team on-site.

Why organizations choose us

Built for small & mid-sized groups

Our mobile Live Scan Bay Area service is structured around small-to-mid groups. Our partner office, TrustPoint Disability and Legal Services, handles document drafting when you need a related-services referral.

5-person minimum, not 20

Most Bay Area providers require 20 or more applicants before sending a unit. We come for groups of five — making mobile fingerprinting for small groups actually accessible.

Transparent pricing on the call

$50 per fingerprint, $100 travel for 10 miles, plus government fees. No mystery setup charges, no per-applicant minimum surcharges.

AB 506 expertise

Churches, camps, sports leagues, and youth organizations rely on us for AB 506 compliance fingerprinting — we know which DOJ form codes apply to your volunteers.

One trip, one team done

Most groups complete in a single visit. Our certified roller processes each applicant in under 10 minutes — a 20-person team is done in about three hours.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions about mobile sessions

What’s the smallest group you’ll travel for?
Five people. That’s our minimum for an on-site visit. Smaller groups are welcome to walk in to our San Jose office at 434 Blossom Hill Road — no travel fee, same $50 rolling fee.
How far will you travel from San Jose?
The flat $100 fee covers up to 10 miles. We routinely travel further — Cupertino, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Milpitas, Fremont. Beyond 10 miles, call (408) 766-3528 with your address for a custom quote.
What does an applicant need to bring to the on-site session?
Each person needs valid photo ID (driver’s license, passport, state ID) and their completed BCIA 8016 Live Scan request form. Your organization usually provides the form with the correct ORI and Type of Application filled in.
How long does each fingerprinting take?
About 10 minutes per applicant once we’re set up. A group of 20 typically takes around three hours including setup. Larger groups may need a half or full day.
Do you handle AB 506 fingerprinting for churches and nonprofits?
Yes. AB 506 mobile fingerprinting is one of our most-requested services. We submit using the correct DOJ form codes for youth-serving organizations, and we’re happy to come to your sanctuary, camp, or volunteer training event.
Can you do FBI fingerprinting on-site too?
Yes. If your team needs an FBI Background Check via our channeler partner, we can capture those prints in the same visit. Useful for healthcare staff, immigration cases, or out-of-state licensing.
What about FD-258 ink cards for out-of-state submissions?
We bring FD-258 ink cards on request for applicants needing fingerprints for out-of-state licensing, foreign police clearance, or mail-in submissions. Mention this when you call so we bring enough cards.
What space do we need to provide?
Just a quiet room with a chair and table, and a power outlet. A conference room, classroom, or office works fine. We bring everything else — equipment, supplies, and the privacy screen for applicant comfort.
