Walk in, or reserve a time

Either works. Which one you choose depends mostly on the service you need and how much of your day you want to spend on it.

Walk-in service

Live Scan fingerprinting, FD-258 ink cards, notarizations and passport photos are all handled on a walk-in basis during business hours. Bring valid, unexpired government photo identification — we cannot proceed without it.

Better with an appointment

Apostille work, ITIN applications and tax preparation involve document review, so booking ahead means we can look everything over before you arrive rather than while you wait.

We come to you

Mobile and group fingerprinting is available throughout Santa Clara County by appointment — useful for volunteer screening, onboarding sessions and anyone who cannot travel to the office.

Quinnie Do is a commissioned California notary public and an IRS Certifying Acceptance Agent. We are a California Department of Justice certified Live Scan provider, and we work with an FBI-approved channeler for federal Identity History Summary requests.

Before you drive over

Do I need an appointment for Live Scan fingerprinting?
No. Live Scan fingerprinting is walk-in during business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Bring your Request for Live Scan form if the requesting agency gave you one, along with valid government photo identification.
What are your hours on Saturday?
Saturday is by appointment only, not walk-in. Please call (408) 766-3528 or book online in advance so we can confirm a time. We are closed on Sunday.
What identification do I need to bring?
Valid, unexpired, government-issued photo identification, presented in person. We cannot accept a photocopy, a photograph on your phone, or an expired document. This applies to fingerprinting, notarizations and ITIN certification alike.
Do you speak Spanish or Vietnamese?
Yes. We provide service in English, Spanish and Vietnamese, with staff on site who speak all three. If you would prefer to be helped in Spanish or Vietnamese, just say so when you arrive or when you call.
Can you come to my office or organization?
Yes. We offer mobile and group fingerprinting throughout Santa Clara County by appointment, including AB 506 volunteer compliance sessions for churches, schools, nonprofits and youth programs. Call to arrange a date.
How do I check on a service already in progress?
Call (408) 766-3528 or email info@fingerscan-digital.com with your name and the date of your visit. Please note that we do not receive or store background check results — those go directly to the requesting agency, and we cannot tell you what a report contains.
